This photo is a great example of color. After talking to you today about horror movies, I have an even stronger appreciation for this image. Its great how the use of red in the very far corner. It adds a subconscious tie-in to the genre of horror, which is nice.
I feel somewhat unoriginal saying this, but I completely agree with Bryan and Somer. The color is extremely fitting for this image, and so is your pose. It looks very late at night, and the eerie blue color cast from the television as well as the uneasy shade of red in the upper left corner of the frame all tie in together. It totally screams watching a horror film. Obviousness sometimes doesn’t work well photographs, but personally I think it works here. It is still kinda subtle to me.
